The Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been helping people in need in eastern Ukraine for almost five years. On August 1st, they sent trucks with over forty tons of food and humanitarian aid to the dioceses of Lugansk and Rivne, aimed mostly at inhabitants in need and people who have been suffering from the ongoing military action. The population has expressed their gratitude. Source
