Le 19 septembre dernier, le patriarche d’Alexandrie et toute l’Afrique, Théodore II, sur l’invitation du métropolite de Varsovie et de toute la Pologne, Sava, est arrivé en visite officielle à l’Église orthodoxe de Pologne. Le 21 septembre, lors de la fête de la Nativité de la Vierge Marie, les deux hiérarques ont lancé un appel conjoint au primats des Églises orthodoxes locales et à la plénitude de la sainte orthodoxie.
