Saint John the New Chosebite celebrated in Judea

Saint John the New Chosebite, also known as Saint John of Neamț, was glorified by the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Romania on June 20, 1992. His Feast day is August 5, the day of his repose. His sanctity was declared in 2015. Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem celebrated an All-Night Vigil for him at the Chozeba monastery on August 10/July 28. Please read here details of the celebration,
