Patriarch Bartholomew is visiting Rome

Patriarch Bartholomew left for Rome on May 23, to participate in the international symposium « New Policies and Lifestyles in the Digital Era » organized by the Vatican. The patriarch was invited to deliver the closing address of the symposium under the auspices of Pope Francis. He will meet him in private, and a luncheon will be offered in his honor. The patriarch will also meet Pope Benedict XVI in his residence.
