Patriarch Bartholomew is visiting Rome

Patriarch Bartholomew left for Rome on May 23, to participate in the international symposium “New Policies and Lifestyles in the Digital Era” organized by the Vatican. The patriarch was invited to deliver the closing address of the symposium under the auspices of Pope Francis. He will meet him in private, and a luncheon will be offered in his honor. The patriarch will also meet Pope Benedict XVI in his residence.
