According to Archpriest Vladimir Vorobiev, rector of Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox University of Humanities, located in Moscow, their Department of Contemporary History of the Russian Orthodox Church has been compiling an impressive database. It now includes around thirty-five thousand martyrs who suffered for their faith last century, already canonized or not, with biographical details and items such as pictures and writings. Source
