On September 30/ October 13, 2018, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Holy Lavra of Saint Savvas the Sanctified by Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem and many co-celebrants. The Lavra is located in Palestine, near Bethlehem, in the desert of Judea. The occasion was the placement of Saint Savvas’ relics in a brand new reliquary.
